I love this place. And their happy hour for 4-5pm has very reasonably priced options. This is certainly a place where you are paying equal parts for food as you are experience; it is expensive, but not in an offensive way.

No complaints, tasty and nice!. I really enjoyed my meal at Osteria Rossa in March. It was on my list to eat there, knowing it had Italian food. My friend and I went in for a weeknight dinner, and we were seated immediately without any wait time. We started with drinks, the Field & Fire bread, and the meatballs. All delicious; I definitely recommend paying for the bread (I know, we all want the bread to be free, but this is worth the extra $1). The meatballs were perfect, not dry, well-seasoned, and in a great sauce. We used the bread to eat every bit of the sauce! I had the traditional, basic spaghetti, which was anything but. The sauce was excellent and tasty, and the noodles were fresh and chewy in a good way. Lastly, we finished with the tiramisu. I don’t love tiramisu, but this was a solid pick. The service was attentive and prompt. The decor is modern and nice. I really cannot complain about my experience there. It was all delicious, making me a definite fan. adventuresinaubreyland.com

Incredibly delectable dinner….incredibly unacceptable noise. Our dinner was divine, service excellent, ambiance trendy, but the noise level put a damper on the whole evening. We had to shout to be heard. Would love to return again and again but will not do so until noise problem is resolved. It was totally unacceptable.

Great start…..mediocre finish.. Food choices were adequate with a nice variety of flavors. The service was very good, prompt and attentive, never had to search for the waitress who was friendly, polite and smiled. Food was very good and presented well. Atmosphere, was just a bit stark but neat. Good wine selection. I loved the velvety smooth Lamuri nero DAvola and the Sangiovese was good too. Most of the food was fantastic and drew raves from our table of four. We chose the Octopus for an app and it was amazing. The salads were delicious too so i was excited to get my main meal. The entrees at our table were the Angolotti, Chicken Cacciatore, and the Veal Piccata. Everyone loved the delicious flavors of the unique Angolotti dish, and although the portion size was surprisingly small, the richness of the dish left the diners filled up. The Chicken Cacciatore was an enormous portion with four pieces of bone-in chicken. Also very good. The veal, which was my meal, was the only disappointment. Another relatively small portion size (3 medallions about 3 in diameter each and a dabble of diced squash, beets and rapini), but it was the veal itself that was the problem. Veal is a very, very tender meat and should practically melt in your mouth. The meat I was served didn’t have much flavor , was very chewy and a bit tough. I definitely had to use the large steak knife they gave me to cut it. (I actually thought that was odd when the server brought it out). I originally thought maybe it was tough because they didn’t pound the medallions thin enough as a true scaloppini should be, but after a few bites it seemed to have the chew and flavor more like a pork tenderloin. I honestly felt the may have substituted the veal. Or perhaps it was simply a poor quality of meat. I ate one of the pieces and shared one more with the others in my party and they agreed that it didn’t seem like veal. No one even wanted the third piece. The sides were fantastic, but I just wish I would have gone with the Rigatoni. Overall, a decent experience, but Im not rushing to go back.

Terrific cuisine using local Michigan products. Had a great dinner with my son, daughter-in-law, and husband this week. We highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for friendly and knowledgeable wait staff and an urban dining experience. I especially loved the $3 crostini appetizer which was enough for 2. We liked that meals can be ordered in small or larger portions and were reasonably priced. The wine was a bit pricey. Definitely will go again!
