  Better than your average chicken chain. Popeye’s has much better food than other chains – higher quality and more flavorful. I don’t have experience with other Popeye’s locations (they’re a rarity around GR), but I’ve been mostly pleased with this one. The food is excellent.I have to admit that I’ve only experienced this restaurant through the drive-thru window (my wife and I have picked up a habit of getting take-out after kids are in bed). The service is decent, though often fairly slow. The new building looks fantastic – well-lit, up-to-date, while fitting in with the streetscape. At some point, perhaps I’ll actually get to eat in the restaurant (when the kids are staying up past 7pm).

  Rude Management. Bad management, long waits, rude employees, bad ghetto neighborhood, but good food. Dont know if its worth all the negative energy of going in there, or the danger of the neighborhood, but food is ok if you feel like waiting 45 minutes for it…small latino manager will argue with you and call you names and yell if you have anything to say to her about waiting 45 minutes for chicken just for them to give it to everyone else and tell you , you have to wait another 20 if you still want it. Serious help needed there with management
