Great place to grab lunch. The roast beef with grilled onions was delicious. Prices are fairly reasonable and worth supporting a local business. I am looking forward to trying other menu items. This time was a quick lunch stop with my daughter while getting an oil change at Veenstra’s Garage across the street.
I’ve been to a lot of good delis in the Detroit area and I must say I think Schnitz is top notch. A large menu of sandwiches and great soups. I like the Black Russian the best. Great deli.
Best Deli in GR. Great Deli with delicious made to order sandwiches. Also try their bakery at the end of the block for fresh baked bread for home.
A little hair of the Mrs. Dog. An awesome deli. Always busy at lunch time. I like the fact that they have so many different sandwiches made from so many different types of bread. It’s really hard to eat the same sandwich twice. Never disappointing.
The pasta salad and brownies are to die for.
