I stopped in with a friend on a Tuesday evening to find they have 1/2 off sushi. I ordered the Mastercard and it was fresh and yummy. The hostess greeted us with a huge warm and inviting smile and the waiter was extremely kind and gracious. I’ll definitely visit again.
Soho Sushi is a completely revamped restaurant. It now has new owners that have cleaned up the entire restaurant form basement to the kitchen and dining area. XO was the old restaurant that closed because of poor food practices. This NEW restaurant has NEW owners and not any of the old owners. Completely new owners, managers and Sushi Chef. They also have Chinese and Thai dishes. My wife and I went ther after seeing the new manager on TV 8 talking about the new restaurant at 58 Monroe Center NW, Grand Rapids right in the center of Downtown Grand Rapids. I am from New York and LA, and I will tell you this place knocked it out of the park. Rita, the new owner was prompt and attentive, food was marvelous, my wife and I started with the Seaweed Salad and the Smoked Salmon Skin Salad then she went on to have the All In Signature Roll and I had the Summer Roll. All four dishes were absolutely breathtakingly delicious. Because the first round dishes were so good we decided to have two more dishes, my wife having the Spicey Scallop Roll and I the Spicey Salmon Roll. They were very, very good. The place is immaculately clean, tatsefully appointed and a wonderful casual ambiance. They even have an out door area for diners. Please take my advice and give them a chance to delight you, you will not regret it. Rita, the new owner is very dedicated to being there for the long run. Go and savor great food. We were there on 5/27/2017 Rita took over the restaurant only 6 months ago and they have done wonders with the restaurant!!!
