This was our first visit to Grand Rapids and we happened to be in the Cherry Hill area for dinner. As it was crowded, we had to wait about twenty minutes for a table. We enjoyed a great beer in the bar area. They have a cool flat screen listing the beer and cocktail selections. Our waiter, Drew, was very personable and efficient. We enjoyed burgers, falafel, and awesome wiener schnitzel, with spatzle! Would definitely come back!
Great Service. After reading the reviews we were expecting level 4 food. We had the Pad Thai and Mac n Cheese. Both were pretty good but would recommend sharing. The portions were huge so you can get through half of it before the flavor is boring. The pad Thai was too sweet.PS: by 6pm there was a line and reservations for parties if 6+ only.
We try to go whenever we are in town for work.Great place with a very diverse menu that works with our work crowd … some people want a plain burger others want unique dishes. Everything they do is well done and worth trying.Service is good and the beer selection worthy of a great beer town like Grand Rapids.
Seriously awesome. I had the special which was a pork chop with bread pudding. The best porkchop I have ever had, and that is saying alot from someone raised on a pig farm. Beer selection was very good also. Indian spiced rice pudding for desert was very good also.
THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING!!! The Chicken and Waffles as well as the Sage Sptzle are just amazing! You can taste the freshness in each and every bite! And for dessert we received a complementary Chocolate Pot de Creme! Everyone is more than willing to assist you and are super friendly! Ask for Johnny as your waiter! Nicest guy!
An excellent place for upscale casual dining. I’ve been to The Green Well many times and have rarely been disappointed. Their menu is consistently excellent, as is their service. If I have one gripe, it’s that the portion sizes can tend to be a bit inconsistent and as a result I’ve had a couple meals there where I’ve not felt full afterward. In those cases, though, I’ve remedied the situation by ordering a dessert. Not to pat myself on the back, but that was a pretty good solution to that dilemma.
