This is one of the best kept secrets in Grand Rapids and always a great value with interesting food. Getting to know the students who serve is a real plus, all these aspiring chefs with dreams of culinary greatness. The restaurant operates on a school schedule so it’s not always open so be sure and check open table for the schedule.

Hidden gem. For years I couldn’t figure out where this place was located: the only sign of it is a small sign on the side of an ugly 60’s concrete parking garage. So there’s free parking. And they are only open about 6 months/yr, during the academic year, for lunch (11;15-12:45) & dinner (5:30-7:30) since it is run by the GRCC culinary program & staffed by its students. And you need a reservation. But if you make it through those hurdles, it’s worth the trip.Pleasant room with lots of windows (who knew in a parking garage!). A very sincere young staff-in-training. No gaffs on our evening there. Very limited wine selections, at reasonable prices. Lot of nice touches: a small amuse-bouche, very, very lovely bread selections sliced at the table. The price of an entree includes an appetizer so you get to taste at least two courses. And the food is very good. The selections are varied, with nice sauces and sides, & are reasonably priced. GREAT presentation: one of the appetizers (a vegan one) came on a slab of solid rock salt. Nice dessert selection as well. Definitely worht a return visit.

Incredible Edibles!. This restaurant is run by the community college’s culinary art students. It’s an elegant dining experience at a very reasonable price. The appetizers, entrees and desserts are all unique and the presentation is exquisite. The hours and reservations are limited, so call in advance.
