BEST SUSHI ON THE EAST SIDE!. 1st off – This place is the BEST!! The reviews on here are ridiculous! Try it out for yourself. ~~ Here’s a tip – Order the Blue Devil roll with Ponzu Sauce on the side (yes it is .50 cents extra) but so worth it. Make the bite delicate and delish!!It’s smaller than most places BUT keep in mind if YOU are a person that needs a bigger atmosphere this is NOT the place for you. Weekends will ALWAYS be packed. If there is a wait – and their can be because it is a small place, have a drink and wait. It will be worth it!! I’d get there right when they open or a little later in the evening after normal dinner hrs. The food is AMAZING! Think I’m lying – try the Las Vegas Roll out!! :-PThe fish is fresh, the sushi is always perfect, and the presentation is wonderful. My husband and I drive 20 minutes once a week to BluFin (myself 2x a wk). We have become regulars to were we know some of their names and they know us. Stephanie is one of the sushi chefs. Not to often do you see a white girl making killer sushi. I am a visual person, so the fact that they have TV monitors up with photos of how things look helped me a lot. Each time the sushi comes out looking exactly like the photos and better yet, TASTES AS GOOD AS IT LOOKS!! It’s a bonus when there is a living Social or Groupon. U got nothing to loose. You can not use for happy hour pricing.Lastly, the servers are great – especially Audrey & Lauren. And not to forget about the amazing sushi chef Stephanie!

Small establishment where they have 2 waitresses, one of them is the ‘manager’ on duty. She is completely worthless, and a complete waste. I refused to pay my full bill but would pay the balance less my $40 groupon, while calmly staying at my seat with my credit card on the table. She called the police because I was skipping my bill, yet i never left or left my table. The police thought it was completely hysterical that they were called and said ‘just don’t come back there are plenty of sushi places’ to eat. Comical, the owner thinks he has a diamond in the rough, but rather it’s a dump in a town where people are nice and he tries to take advantage. My advice is to stay away, should be lowest rated restaurant for Grosse Pointe.
