My first time trying this restaurant; tried pad thai. Unfortunately mediocre, I was hoping to have a great Thai place by my house. Noodles were a bit soft, sauce was not right….a 5/10
Horrible… Not just food but service also.. Please put a smile on ur face employees…I could understand horrible food but horrible food and service is just too much. Will never eat again!!
Sy thai is better. I love thai food, so when one opened up so close to home I was ecstatic. Unfortunately, the service here is less than satisfactory and the food leaves you unsatisfied due to lack of flavor and spice.
Thai-rrible. Upon the few visits that I have made to the restaurant the food has always been less than par. On my first visit I ordered Pad Thai, simple and a standard dish of the Thai cuisine. When the dish was placed in front of me all that I could smell was the stink of eggs. I realize that the dish has eggs in it but never has it been this stinky. The dish was so terrible that i could not even eat one bite, I sent it back. A few months later I returned hoping that they had gotten better, I ordered an order of vegetable curry and took it home. The sauce had a strange taste that I had never tasted before upon purchasing the same dish from other restaurants. And I have only eaten here one last time and like the past two times the food was terrible. I was at a friends house and he had ordered food from there and was having some friends over and all the food he ordered was bad and they even messed up the order. So in conclusion this restaurant is a horrible excuse for a Thai restaurant, I don’t know why people think this is a good place when compared to other Thai places in the area.
Worrisome. Since its opening, this pleasant, well-located Thai restaurant has been an asset to the Grosse Pointes. But my most recent visit was marred by service so atrocious we walked out after 45 minutes without being served anything more than couple of Cokes. I’d have thought it was an aberration, but I recently talked to someone else who had an identical experience just a few days ago. I’m thinking they may have a problem, and if so, it needs to be fixed, and soon. It’s too good of a place to squander over bad help.
