Great bar. Not so great food. This tries to be a great sports bar and family restaurant. They do the sports bar well. The restaurant not so well. Fried food of modest quality dominates. Kids seem to like it. But adults are here for the kids.
Order the perch! Its delicious. I’m not sure what everyone else is having. But everytime i go its packed and my perch are D-lish!
Why?. Why would they spend all the time and money in renovating…but leave the food the same. The place looks great, but the food is HORRIBLE! Too bad!
I’ll admit, it’s not a five star restaurant. But if you’ve been there a few times, you’ll learn what and what not to order, and it really can be a great experience; I recommend the chicken strips, portobello wrap, and any of the great soups, not to mention the vegetarian nachos, which are always a favorite. Besides the food, no one can argue it’s a great place to hang out and have a good time.
Nice renovation, bad food.. The place looks great, but the food is as bad as ever. They really need to completely change out the cook and menu. Too many things on the menu, none of which are good. That being said, it is now a nice place to grab a drink. The bar area, in particular, looks fantastic. I just wish the food was a good.
