Really Good Food…. RECOMMEND: My family and I have been eating at Peking Inn since the mid ’90s. We live near Kalamazoo, but whenever we are in Grand Rapids and want a relaxing meal at a decent price, Peking Inn is where we go. We have never been disappointed. Their food and service are always first-rate. Linen napkins at a paper price. If there is a Chinese dish that isn’t on the menu, ask. This restaurant has a big take-out following as seen by how many bags go out the front door during a meal there. You know how some Chinese restaurants put out some bland-tasting food so as to appeal to most? Not here… Everything is fresh and savory. If you have yet to try it, Peking Inn will pleasantly surprise.

One of the main reasons that I like it here is because the buffet is not so huge that it’s overwhelming like so many others. Also with fewer choices, the food is more fresh and tastes much better. Most other buffets, everything tastes the same, everything is old, and seafood is so overdone it’s like trying to eat rubber.It’s also a buffet that dieters don’t have to be worried about losing control. And there are still about 12-15 choices to pick from.

If this restaurant has one weakness, it is that the buffet needs to be larger. I eagerly recommend this place.
