OK food…. Based in the impressions of two companions and myself, the chimichanga and wet burritos were just OK–nothing special. Wet burrito description is worded so as to be misleading: the beans and rice are INSIDE, not as side items. Glad I ordered the chimichanga dinner, which came with them on the side. I can’t say anything good or bad about the food, as literally nothing stood out. Pricing seems a little high given the run-of-the-mill menu and no-frills dining (pay when ordering, food served on foam plates, foam cups, etc). I can say the flan was amazing. Alicia was a gracious host and checked-in on us periodically. I also liked how the place wasn’t crowded, so my friends and I were able to have a decent conversation. I’d call this a good place to sit and chat with friends while having a bite to eat, as opposed to the other way around.
Great Authentic Mexican. After finding Alicia’s at the Mega Mall Flea Market and loving her food (egg and veggie burrito, salsa, and tamales), my boyfriend and I decided to come here. We went during lunch, which has great prices, but ended up ordering the regular price chimichanga dinner and chicken wet burrito because we were so hungry. We each had enough leftovers for a whole meal (plus a container of her sauce she gave us), so you definitely get enough bang for your buck. Delicious authentic Mexican food cooked by Alicia herself in a clean and comfortable restaurant – Alicia’s Authentic Mexican is definitely recommended.
