The basics and quick healthy lunches. I probably buy lunch here once a week if not more. The staff is always friendly and the sushi always looks and tastes great. They have discounts for LCC and Cooley students on certain days, and buy one get one free after 5pm (it goes fast though!). So glad to have a place to get my sushi fix downtown. They have all the basics plus some of their own twists including a philly with crab instead of salmon (I actually like this better than the traditional philly roll). The Lansing roll is great too! All in all a great place to grab quick sushi when the same old sandwich is getting old.

The only sushi in downtown Lansing. So if you’re craving it, Anqi is an okay choice. The menu’s pretty small and there’s not much variety — and in particular the only raw fish on it are salmon, tuna, and tilapia. But it tastes pretty good. The wakame salad’s great (but then, I’ve never had a restaurant ruin one of those.)Bottom line, the place is unpretentious and they’re not going to rock your world, but the prices are reasonable and if you’re wanting sushi for lunch, at least now there’s an option downtown.
