Best Hot Sour Soup I have had!. We go often – Not a lot of atmosphere in or outside, but my husband and I judge every Chinese Buffet that we experience on the Hot/Sour Soup, and theirs is by far, the best! They also have a garlic soy dipping sauce that I could take a bath in it is so good! Attentive and very friendly staff and they offer something for everyone. Go! Eat!
Very good selection and price. Very good for the price. This is the best Chinese Buffet on Cedar Street. Very good selection of foods and well stocked and hot. Had to let some items cool down to eat. It is a lot better than House of Ing, which offers a tiny buffet (smaller than you would get at Big Boy)–less food offered at House of Ing and a lot more expensive.
Average, nothing special. On our quest to find a decent Chinese buffet in the Lansing area we decided to stop at China East. The building is a little ruff on the outside as the makeshift signs they put out for holidays but I like small business and hole in the walls so that never detracts.The food was what you would typically see on a Chinese buffet. It wasn’t over the top, there were enough items to choose from.Having lived in several other states this buffet did leave a lot to be desired. Some of the dishes were out and never replenished, the food was luke warm and the selection just wasn’t up to par.Service was fine, its a buffet I don’t expect exceptional service.This is the only Chinese buffet we have tried since moving to this area, probably won’t be going back anytime soon but the price was decent.
The owner, Jon is so sweet. We like their food. We try to come on a slow day when the buffet is more stocked.
