Our favorite place for fried fish in town. We love the seasoning and the delicious catfish filets. However, be sure to vent the fish and fries when bringing it home, because the packaging tends to make them soggy if they wait too long!
Love this place. Chicken is the best! Love the seasoning. It’s my life goal to find out how they make it. Never had the fish b/c I am so pulled in by how good this chicken is! Only thing that could make this place better is if they sold the seasoning, hint hint

The catfish fillets fried are delicious! Grease is always fresh and you can tell by the color of the fish and taste.I have also had fresh whole bluegill I fried and bluegill they fry both excellent.I ordered a 50 wing pack they were great.I have not tried other items but I would recommend eastside to friendsI heard a guy raving over the gizzards and theres a barber next store I may try.Suggestions: onion and lemon with the catfish (southern thing).To the person saying the hush pups were the best they sell them in the freezer there. I would love for them to make fresh hush puppies and ones with jalapenos.Feels great to support a local business too
Outstanding. Real southern food in Lansing! Love the rub on the wings, which were meaty- same awesome flavor on the gizzards. Can’t wait to actually try the fish! And home made desserts- pecan pie and banana pudding
