How can you not love this place? I was so excited when I spotted another El Oasis trailer closer to where I live, but it’s since left. No worries, because I’ll still be heading on over to Lansing for what has to be some of the city’s most addictive eats.I’ve been to the Michigan Avenue location a handful of times. The service is usually very friendly. You might have to wait a few minutes for your order to be cooked, but the timeliness is hardly an issue considering the delicious consequences.

Greet the face in the window and adress them in English or Spanish and wait for your food come and pay the man as he asks you for hot or mild salsa. Oh it is essential to note this is a CASH ONLY establishment. Beyond the ordering procedures the menu ranges from breakfast burritos(chorizo and egg my favorite), to lunch burritos, tacos, sopa and home made chips. My favorite is a steal fried torta, a delectable Mexican Style sandwhich. After going to El Oasis my first time I retired the for the next six days because I couldn’t get enough. It is really that good.
Amazing food and fast service.. I absolutely love this place. Stopped here on my way through town because of the great reviews listed here and was so glad I did. Hubby had beef burrito and chicken taco and I had chicken burrito. We both had the hot green sauce. Everything was perfect. Even the tortillas seemed better then most Mexican restaurants. Really hope to be back some day.
Taco Trailer Just West of Frandor on Michigan. Love the burrito’s, I never was a fan of salsa verde till I had theres. Get the beef burrito and spring for an extra cup of salsa you will be full after you eat it.
Yummy!. Excellent food, great service. If you have a taste for traditional Mexican, definitely try these guys. the other reviews were right on the money! p.s. get the HOT green sauce for the tacos…awesome
Amazing. There is no reason to get Mexican food anywhere else in town. El Oasis has the best. Everything is authentic and freshly-made, the portions are huge, their beans are so good, the tortillas are tasty, and if they have any empanadas when you get there, GET ONE! I am also happy that they have Jarritos-brand pop there, it’s a perfect way to wash down the delicious food.
Best food truck in Lansing. Food off a truck has gotten very popular over the last several years and places like El Oasis are the reason.The food is moderately priced, served up quickly, and is truly some of the best Mexican you can find in Lansing… and trust me, I’ve eaten everywhere.Try the shredded beef burrito with a quesadilla and a Mexican Coke! Delicious!
