  Don’t judge a book by it’s cover….. This restaurant is one of the most deceiving places I’ve been to. The look is a little outdated, not maintained and the walls and windows probably don’t get cleaned very often. BUT, they have the best fish & chips I’ve ever had! I have a touchy stomach when it comes to fried food, especially fish. I took me a very long time to find a place that didn’t make my stomach hurt after eating their fried food. The chips are fantastic! So far the only thing that was a little fishy for me was their catfish. But, of course, I’m not a big fan of fish that has a strong taste to it. Many people do. The perch was fishy as well but not as much as the catfish. It was still good. My favorite thing to get there are the wing dings – the best in town!! Their tarter sauce, not the stuff you get for to-go meals, is also excellent. My spouse is not a big fan of fish but he will eat fish & chips anytime. None of the food I get ever tastes of fish if it’s not fish. Whenever I need to get the food to-go, it’s never soggy when I get home. That’s usually a 15 minute drive. Sometimes you even get what appears to be the owner serving you. He’s always in a shirt and tie, very polite and helpful. Fish & Chips may look tiny and old but I would recommend it to anyone!

  User reviews. I don’t care what people say, this place has amazing french fries!! They might just be the best fries in Lansing. And I think the drive thru is cool. It’s so old and rusty looking, I can’t believe it still works. I love their old sign, too. I like how they haven’t updated anything. It gives it charm.

  Garbage. The food is TOTAL GARBAGE. It made me physically ill. Never go here, this eyesore needs to vanish

  Be Careful. Wow. What a disappointment, and maybe a dangerous also. I suspect they don’t broil, but precook and then grill — not sure what it was that they grilled either. It sorta looked like an old dried up rag. They fry chicken (assuming it is chicken) in the same nasty oil they use to fry fish, fries and hush puppies. Hush indeed. They also messed up the order and shorted us on a piece of fish. We probably wouldn’t have eaten it anyway, but still.. They put the hot piece of so-called broiled fish on top of the side salad in a to-go container so that the salad was wet and warm and the fish (assuming it was fish) was cold. The cole slaw tasted like cabbage mixed with spoiled milk and vinegar. Seriously, I would never recommend that anyone spend one dime in this place. It is dirty and the food is just terrible.
