Better in Lansing. Fast Food is fast food, but if you want a little better quality and a little better taste, you go to places like Halo Burger instead of the golden arches or the king. The menu is simple, but you really don’t need more when the basic quarter pound burger is so well done and customizable. I also really like the fries, because they’re consistent, potato-y, and not overly salty. My wife is a fan of their turkey burger, so there’s that to consider. One thing I should mention is that I’ve been to the locations in the Flint/Birch Run area, and this newer spot in Lansing seems to outdo them in terms of food prep and service quality. I don’t know if this will wear off over time, but right now this is my top fast food spot when I’m not near Olympic Broil. Their phone app that provides food rewards for scanning receipts is also pretty cool if you work nearby and can do repeat business.
