Sub par. This was quite disappointing, and honestly the staff looked like they knew it… We ended up with something that was basically fried chicken with brown gravy, a pork dish that was 80% celery, and chicken egg rolls that were 99% lettuce and 0% chicken. … I don’t know what i ate, but for the first time ever, I didn’t ask for a TO GO box, and the waiter didn’t look surprised. They know their food is terrible. I have no desire to ever eat here again.
Way good. In the ten years I’ve lived in this city I’ve driven by this place at least once a week but never realized the gem I was missing.I’ve only had a few things off the menu but they were all very good and dishes that I haven’t seen any where else.Totally going back and doing the lunch buffet to get a good sample of what they got going on.
Disappointment. Hong Kong used to be my favorite restaurant, but I hadn’t been there on a Sunday in quite some time. I expected the delicious buffet I had been accustomed to, but was told they only have that for weekday lunch. So I ordered a combo. The egg roll was fine, but the fried rice was completely tasteless, and the General’s Chicken tasted stale. Even the tea wasn’t up to par! It is getting very difficult to find a quality Chinese restaurant anymore, but I will look elsewhere!
