Excellent! Thank you all previous reviewers. We were going to pass when we saw the place. So glad we didn’t! We will be back! We enjoyed the Cuban, chicken and artichoke and the best was the sausage. Both my son and husband loved it.
Delicious and satisfying. Every time I eat at Joses I try a new sandwich or salad and I am never disappointed in my decision the food here is incredible, if I had a complaint it would be that everything is so amazing it’s getting hard to choose between them when I go. When I manage to narrow my choice do. To between to things I realize I’m going to have to eat joses for lunch and dinner so that I may have both choices.
Like others said, don’t be off put by the fact its in a gas station. I got the Peruvian Style Sandwich and it was seriously not only one of the best Cuban sandwiches but it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had, period. I’m in Lansing only once a week but stopping here is a must!
Fantastic, Authentic Cuban cuisine. There is just something about Jose’s cooking that makes my mouth water just thinking about. Its really hard to put my finger on; the chicken is always cooked perfectly, as well as the pork, and they make it in this savory sauce with sweet bell peppers, and the price is unbelievably reasonable.I highly recommend the chicken platter for first timers.
Glad I found it. I was really happy to discover Jose’s. I like Cuban Sandwiches and they are hard to find. Do not let the location in a gas stattion fool you. I’ve only had the Cuban sandwich so far, but I loved it and will be going back.And if you get up a large enough order, they will deliver.
Great Sandwich. Great Deal.. Don’t be fooled by the fact this place is in a gas station. These sandwiches and rice and bean are so delicious. For $6.99 i got a artichoke chicken sandwich with rice and beans. All of it was super flavorful. This is definitely one of the top 5 take out places in Lansing. A few weeks ago i had a friend in town from Austin and we ate out several times while he was here. This was definitely his favorite meal he had in Lansing.
Nice!. Their menu has a lot of interesting flavors and combinations. It’s different than the other sandwich shops in town, and definitely worth a try. Even the delivery items are served with chips and a pickle!
