Not creepy chicken!. You know those Asian restaurants that you question if its chicken or not? Good news this is not one of those places! Everything is fresh and delivery is pretty quick. Plus their egg rolls are the best around! You can tell they are fresh and homemade! No question this is the best Asian cuisine in the Frandor area!
This is authentic Chinese food, the closest you can get without traveling to china yourself. You know it’s good when 95% of the clientele in there is Asian…
Disappointing! Had delivery and was given a window of how much it would cost including delivery. What kind of place has a sliding price that is decided at delivery!?! Still figured it was worth trying after the reviews. Figured to just prepare for the high end, but it was even higher. The delivery container was over half empty with the Mongolian beef. The chicken dish was bursting full. Both were bland, so for now I will still have to cross into east Lansing.
Comparable to hong kong. Both places are great
Great meal!. My husband and I stopped in after work tonight at the Kung Fu and had a great dinner (to go). I ordered two appetizers: the chilled noodles (item #1 on menu) and the pork wontons (item #6). Both had plenty of heat and flavor. Actually, the pork wontons were so hot, temperature-wise, that it was impossible for me to get more than a couple down as we sat in the park to eat. They were delicious and came with a huge amount of broth. The chilled noodles came with plenty of spice, weren’t mushy at all, and nice portions of well-sprouted beans that gave it a bit of bite when you bit into one. My husband ordered #56 (deep fried eggplant of some type). It was also very good. Sometimes eggplant can be tough, but this was soft and creamy and the exterior crust was not greasy at all. Because we took it to go, they gave us the sauce on the side. It was a brown sauce with chunks of scallion. Very good, slightly sweet, but good spice level. While we were waiting for our food, the lady at the counter offered us some tea free of charge, which I thought was very nice. The ambiance is still a little bare, but the food is what counts. Word to management: clean your bathrooms! We’ll definitely be back. It’s nice to see more authentic Chinese cuisine moving into the Lansing area and not just broccoli beef and orange chicken.
Finally Real Sichuan Food in Lansing. When all you see is Chinese people in a restaurant, you know you’ve arrived. They serve exotic cold dishes like tripe and beef, and even more exotic hot dishes like pigs blood, pork intestines, sichuan boiled fish and the list goes on. If you want authentic, this is the place to be.
