Lunch hours. They are not open for lunch on Saturday’s, even though this website says they are. Thank goodness I called to ask about parking.

When in Lansing. If you’re stuck in downtown Lansing then eat here. You won’t be disappointed. Then again you won’t be amazed. The rest of the restaurants around here will leave you disgusted.

Only been there twice. And it was 2 times too many. I swear our food was pre-packaged or frozen. Don’t understand all the excitement over this place?

High quality European faire. This is a family owned business. You can tell because there is absolute attention to the quality and quantity of food you are served. The salads are fresh, crisp and interesting, the soups are impeccably blended and prepared and the entrees are inventive yet comfortably familiar. I believe the family is Croatian so there is an Eastern European slant to the food but there are a wide variety of European cuisines represented on their menu. And if there is any chance of leaving a little room at the end, the deserts are a delectable end to a perfect meal. And I have to say the service is perfect and the facilities are attractive and well kept.

Plate for two was absurd!. This was a journey around Europe on one plate. It could actually feed six people. My wife got a cappucino that looked amazing. The salad was one of the best I’ve had. Very unique. It was a tossed salad with very ripe vegetables, topped with sliced strawberries, and with a cabbage salad similar but not identical to coleslaw in the middle. And dessert was top notch as well, we got the french silk pie. The prices are more than fair and the owner could probabaly almost double them and stay packed with customers. (I hope he doesn’t read this and do it though) One of the best meals I’ve had ever, even home cooked meals would have a hard time topping this.
