This is not merely hands down the best barbecue restaurant in Lansing, it is, in my opinion, the best restaurant in Lansing, period. The brisket, pulled pork and chicken are ridiculously good, and the sides are simply outstanding. I would happily pay half again more for what they’re charging for this food and still consider it a bargain. I cannot say enough good things about this place, and were it closer to my home or office, I would probably find myself there multiple times a week. As it is, Mrs Fred and I have taken to arranging our weekend chores so that we conveniently find ourselves in sufficient proximity around lunch time that we’ve started to make a habit of stopping in weekly.
