Apology. I apologize for the misunderstanding on our French Toast. Our cherry french toast is traverse city cherry bread, not topping. Same with the apple french toast, not a topping but the flavor of bread with icing that is dipped in french toast batter. Please try us again. I realize that post was last august, but we stand by our food and would like to make you happy and make this right.
Where’s the fruit?. We go out to eat quite often and thought we would give Daner’s Diner a try. We ordered their apple and cherry french toast at $5.25. There was not an apple or cherry to be found although I had a few drops of something red on the french toast. I personally thought 2 pieces of bread and 2 very thin pieces of bacon were not bargain at this price. The restaurant was clean, our waitress was personable and the food was OK tasting. They seemed to be pretty busy, I guess it was just not for us.
Awesome home cooked diner type foods with a lot of healthy choices. Portions are large, ingredients are fresh & prices are cheap. Times are tough to start a new business, but with quality like this, hopefully this husband & wife team can make it!
