Neat experience. Cooking on the rock is a great way to have an interesting dinner. Very good food s nd staff!
Ridiculous. How can they get away with charging that much for steak and then have you cook it yourself? What a racket.You’re better off just buying your own and cooking at home.
Third time’s a charm? I’ll never know.. I’ve been here twice, there won’t be a third. The first visit was for Mother’s day a couple years ago. I ordered my steak cooked. The waiter insisted several times that I would want to cook it myself on the rock. It took the threat of getting the manager to convince him I was serious. The steak was ok. My second visit was when they tried doing breakfast for a while. Hostess sat us quickly and then disappeared in the kitchen. Several people kept looking at us from the kitchen. Occasionally, one of the waitstaff would come out, tend to one of the previously seated customers, then head back to the kitchen. This went on for about 20 minutes, until a waitress finally came over and brought us coffee. I asked her why it took so long, and she said they were having a meeting. She took our order and went back in the kitchen. 30 minutes later, our food arrived. One meal was prepared perfectly, the other was absolutely stone cold. When I asked the waitress about it, she asked me if I wanted it heated up. I told her that I wanted a new meal. Once I got my food, it was actually quite good, but there’s not a chance in hell they earned a return visit from me.
I go here all the time. The service usually sucks and the foods great but we cook our own steak of course. We recently just went there and we took our kids for the first time. We had an amazing waiter this time he was so nice he was great with my 4 year old got him a slurpee no charge talked to him explained things. He was attentive our glasses were never empty and he just made our experience there that much better his name I’d AJ if you go there you need to ask for him. Best waiter ever.
Place is fantastic, food is wonderful, atmosphere is awesome. Definitely need a reservation on a Friday or Saturday night. But this is now a weekly stop for myself.
