I love going to Coachlight. The Waitresses are great and I love the new decor! Mark and Mari really have a first-class place there. They’ve owned this for at least 30 years, and they try very hard for all customers to have great service and great food. I’ve never had any complaints since I started eating at coachlight in the seventies. Awesome breakfast and great lunch, and I encourage everybody to eat at The Coachlight!!
My favorite place to eat in Marquette. I highly recommend the Eggs Benedict, it is amazing. Glad to have a great place to eat with a great price.
Very nice breakfast, and quick! The table and booth are small but really enjoyed the food!We had croissant with ham and egg, others had pancakes and bacon!
Coachlight. Worst place to eat in town. Highly recommend people go else where if you want good service and a good meal.
..Cheap but You Get What U Payfor…Grease Burger And Micro Salad. Forgot Bacon On Bacon Cheeseburger. Never Again.
This place is awesome… the food is great and the people and service is too…. even if it is a little out dated thats what gives the place an old school diner feel. Does anyone realize this restaurant is all home made …. Not one thing comes from a bag like big boy or all the other chain restaurants… Everything is made on the spot and good food sometimes takes some time even though I would say that things come out pretty darn quick . If you ask me this place is awesome and it deserves to be recognized and reviewed with five stars!!!!
It’s like trying to hit a Major League fast ball…. Here’s the thing about the Coachlight–their food is really good when you’re lucky enough to get their full attention. Every other time, you might as well be eating the menu instead of waiting for your plate to arrive. I’ve eaten at the Coachlight probably 25 times or so since I moved back to the area in 2007. Some of my friends like to eat there because it’s convenient and it’s cheap. On the times that we’ve been there and it’s slow and the waitress and cook are interested in putting forth their best effort, I’ve really enjoyed my meal. They give you big portions at a good price and they are very friendly. On the days I’ve gone when they don’t really want to focus, or are inundated with a full house, my food has come out cold, undercooked, overcooked, tossed together and one time when we had a table of five one of us got our food about 10 minutes before the next three and the fifth had to wait an additional five minutes. Not exactly enjoyable. So, like I said in my post title — it’s kind of like trying to hit a Major League fastball… sometimes you get lucky and connect with it, but the majority of the time you just hear the potential whizzing by you for a strike.
