Great layout. The food is good here, but this is the kind of place you must see if you are a sports fan! All of the jerseys and pictures and sports gear they have is like visiting a sports museum. The roof top is great for pre gaming before a tigers game when the weather is good.
High priced for the quality yuck. It was so long to get our food they made us late for the hockey game I will never go back and suggest you do the same
Suprised at the good reviews. I ate here before seeing a show at the Fox theatre. I can see how watching a game here would be nice, lots of big flatscreen tvs. But the food wasn’t anything special at all. Especially for the price. I had a cheeseburger with fries and my son had a hot dog with mac and cheese off the kids menu. The kids meal was just over 5 dollars, and was some kraft mac and cheese out of the box (you know, the blue box that produces neon orange cheese sauce), with a hot dog cut up and thrown on top. And I could make a better burger than the one they served me for 9 bucks. The steak fries were very good though, if there is one saving grace. Also, my original want was to have a buffalo chicken sandwich with a grilled chicken breast instead of a fried one. Well this confused my waitress apparently, so I just opted for the burger. (There is a sandwich that has grilled chicken on it on the menu by the way, so it’s not like they don’t serve it at all). I wouldn’t go again.
Red Wings All the Way. I myself am a Red Wings fan, and I love nothing more than to sit down at Hockeytown Cafe and have a deepdish pizza, hot out of the oven. Just the atmosphere makes it so amazing. You have Red Wings on one wall and the Tigers on the other. And while you eating your right across from the famous Comerica Park, and basically down the road is the monorail station.
MY RED WINGS PARADISE. This is my home away from home! Fun atmosphere + good ol’ American fare + team spirit = GREAT times!!! GO WINGS!!!!
Unbelievably good soups!
I felt that for casual eating this place was far too expensive. The menus were printed on cheap xeroxed paper. The service and cleanliness left something to be desired. I will not eat there again.
