I’ve been here a few times when I’ve travelled into town. The servers have been unpleasant each time. The patio area usually has homeless people begging for money. The crowd was nothing special. I would not go back.
Great Locals Joint. Do you like hot dogs? Wrapped in bacon? Deep fried? Yes? Then you’re at the right place. In addition to having a great cozy, Irish pub feel (largely because it is an Irish pub), the Old Shillelagh serves up some pretty solid food. The aforementioned (and pictured) dog is called a Swanky Franky and is just as delicious as it sounds. In addition, the burger was outstanding; thick, juicy, hand-made patty; variety of good toppings (including grilled onions); etc. Very good. The fries? Meh. But the rest of it was great.

Best Irish Pub EVER!. This place rocks! Awesome music, authentic Irish food and drinks… what blast! Great place to take a group of friends and a definate place to party on St. Paddy’s day!
Fantastic food! Stopped in for a bite and server recommended the rueben. I’m glad she did, haven’t had a rueben that good in a looong time!!
