Eight of us met here for dinner after seeing Wicked at the Michigan Opera House. Reservations are not accepted so those who did not attend Wicked waited in line to hold a spot for the rest of us.This is a fun place to dine. The dishes are small plates and there are several to choose from based upon your preference. Many of the dishes offered are fish or shellfish. We opted on several different ones including their crab cakes, pork belly sliders, and roasted cauliflower. All of the dishes were excellent. Drinks are very good. The noise level is high due to the architecture and openness of the restaurant. There is access by elevator and stairs. Access to the bathroom(s) is tricky. They are single and you wait in line in a high traffic area. Overall, this was a nice experience and I recommend a visit!

We were staying at the Aloft Detroit in the David Whitney building and this restaurant is just two blocks away, so no car or Uber needed. Yay! Although the address is on Woodward, the entrance is on John R. Take the elevator to the 2nd floor. We got there right when it opened and were seated quickly. Service is great and the food was delicious. We had the potato chips, crab cakes, scallops, chicken, and beef tenderloin for the two of us. Of everything we had, the only thing we didnt care for was the chicken. Everything else was fantastic. It was plenty for me, but my husband wasnt full, so we ordered dessert. He had the butterscotch pudding and I had the orange date cake. I thought I died and went to heaven! That cake was so delicious! My husband tasted it and though he liked his pudding, he agreed that the cake was better. I also had a raspberry martini that was delicious! And not only is the food and service great, but the ambience is wonderful too!
