Went on Friday night at 7:00, and I it took about 2 hours to have dinner. The food was good, but the kitchen was WAY too slow! The chicken parmesan was very good, and the lasagna was more average.
Haven’t been here in 3 yrs. I used to be a regular but the food just got terrible. A friend came in town and wanted to go there so we tried again. The food was still overcooked and tasted terrible. The tried twice to redo it and they still charged me for it. Also no manager or owner came over to apologize. Overpriced for bad food. Don’t go…save your money because even Olive Garden is better than this place.
Interesting place. Would describe look as 1/3 pub, 2/3 Italian place. Yeah. Started with spinach artichoke dip. Tasty. Hot. A little salty, but with all that cheese, not surprising. Creamy texture. Definitely an app for 4. At 8 bucks, pretty reasonable. Italian baked onion soup could have been hotter, but good flavor (not like French except in appearance) and focaccia bread crouton added an interesting grainy texture. Rolls, although not real authentic, were good. This isn’t New York, you know. Was going to get the filet, but waitress talked me into gnocchi with beef tips. Light toast on gnocchi with a great sear on the steak (if steak alone, too much, but as a component, perfect) just enough garlic, spinach. Glad she told me about it. Won’t find this anywhere else. Even with a party of 14 seated just before I got there, service as expected. My only regret is that my wife isn’t with me to enjoy it.
