Has Anyone Heard Anything Good?. I haven’t heard anything fantastic about this place. Mediocre food, no Michigng craft beers. I have not returned back. It is too bad someone made investment into this facility, but didn’t back it up with strong food/menu, atmosphere, or even beer selection. This place doesn’t fit onto the good/great resturant selection for me, I have driven right on past it to go to ‘other’/better places.25 Sep, 2013Nothing Real Special. I thought the food was just typical, nothing to really draw me back. Fried pickles were very good. The open room atmosphere felt awkward, almost like cafeteria style – not easy to get personal. Entry way was also awkward, as while waiting for a table/to be seated, you are just sort’a standing there already in the eating area, seemed very strange to not be more separated. Hearing they had a nice bar area, I was really going there to see what they had for Michigan Craft Beer selection, and again nothing real special. The craft beer selection was actually very minimal, and I was very disappointed. Bar seemed more like a martini or liquor bar. Lastly, the location is also a little odd, stuck about mid-way between Clarkston and Grand Blanc, on Dixie Hwy. It is not the most savory area, and seem less travel except for those heading to Mt. Holly. The restaurant food or beer selection not a big enough draw to make it worth the drive. I felt the meals were slightly overpriced, when considering the overall package. Overall, I was not impressed or pleased with the experience. I would likely not return with so many other wonderful restaurants to choose from in the surrounding area.
Horrible food , really bad service and the so called owner lady named dee is a real piece of work. What ever you do stay away fromthis joke of a restaurant.
Restaurant decor is way better than the food. Pizza sauce was way too sweet. Fish & chips had a sweet batter as well. Third time I’ve been here and every time there is something substandard about the meal. Great setting but mediocre food. Last time here.
Nice Building, but Not Great Restaurant. Food was like anywhere else, nothing very special. Like another reviewer, I too like the deep fried pickles. Not really any Michigan craft beers, which by current standards you really need to have. Restaurant is located on my way to no where. Inside atmosphere was not fantastic. I’ll probably not return.
Didn’t care for it.. Like the other reviewers, I didn’t care for this restaurant much. The beer selection was weak at best (no Michigan craft beers), and the food was only so-so. Mostly, I didn’t care for the atmosphere much. Overall I really didn’t enjoy the experience, and I thought is was just mediocre. It’s in an odd location, and there are just so many other great restaurants in the area (Clarkston, Lake Orion, Rochester, Fenton, etc…). My advice to friends and family has been to try elsewhere.
