How do you tip. Great food and a great show but is anyone else confused about tipping there? I always wonder that come time for the bill because nine out of ten times the server takes forever to get my drink and thats all that they do. I get up and make my dish, bring it to the cooks at the grill, they make it up and then I walk it back to my table. Sorry but that is the easiest serving gig ever. You could absolutely handle having ten tables at the same time because all you have to do is get drinks tortillas and rice. The cooks crack me up and are always entertaining, just seems like the servers should be sucking up way more and staying on top of things since they do nearly nothing.
Love this place!. The food is great, of course it is, you design it yourself…people who don’t like it just might not know how to put things together. They do have recipes if you need them. The cooks are always friendly…love their banter and antics..that’s what makes it fun. The waitstaff on the other hand seem to fade away…often not getting refills etc. They need to be a little more friendly and attentive.Price is great for what it is.
Don’t get me Wong the food…. Don’t get me wrong the food was good but at $13 a plate plus $5 for fried rice. I can get just as good at any local Chinese buffet that has a Mongolian grill. Plus $17 for a liter of sangria!! Come on.
Burnt food. This place was great when it open up. But the last two time I’ve been there all the food is burnt or has crap from the prior dish burnt into food. They need to learn to clean grill. Use to be one of my favorites, but for $15 for burnt food I won’t be back
I went her this afternoon to have a late lunch. After being seated and waiting over 10 minutes and still no wait staff came over to ask for a drink order or even acknowledge our presence, we walked out. Service here is consistently poor and our food is usually burnt from the grillers. Avoid the Okemos location! Ann Arbor and Troy are better.
Amazing i love the whole concept and i love to watch them cook it. Great atmosphere. And all the ingredence is fresh.
Lot’s of fun. Good food and the kids love it.
