Whenever my husband and I feel like running out to chill for an hour, it’s always to Ellison. I love stouts, he loves everything. Staff is always friendly. The people seem cool & relaxed there.
Atmosphere and service great, beer selection could use some variety. I know hoppy IPAs are very popular now, so that may be the reason for the selection. A standard, non-flavored, stout would be great. They keep games in hand by the door, so if you’re restless ask.

Decent little place. Small, but comfy. No food of their own, but they have menus from local places that you can have delivered in. The beer lineup was very one-sided, in that all the stouts were very good, but all the lighter beers were…not. Most were too hoppy and the Tangerine DreamSMELLED like an Orange Cream-sickle, but tasted like really bad medicine. I’d come back for a stout anytime, though.
