A happy place to stop in Marne, Michigan. This restaurant is located in the old interurban station. It is a fusion of nascar and trains, family, friends, the Lions Club, little girls lunching and everything wholesome. We were lucky to find a table for two under the train engine that circles overhead. The paper menu is tucked behind the condiment container. We read the specials on the board. I ordered a half sandwich and soup: chicken salad on rye and spicy white chicken chili. Next time I will have a sandwich on their homemade bread. The staff didn’t pause for a moment on this very busy Friday afternoon. It took a long time to get our food so plan on that but don’t miss the fun of the Interurban Depot Cafe.

Stopped on the way home from a wedding with our 10 week old son and the staff was so nice, the owner even turned on the train that goes around the restaurant. the food was amazing! make sure to try their homemade breads. bought some local honey too. overall great dinning experience.
