The Terrace Inn and 1911 Restaurant is located in the Historic Association of Bay View, established in 1875. The Inn opened in July 1911 and has been in continuous operation since. A Michigan Historic Landmark, the Inn continues to provide a home like atmosphere, amazing cuisine and quaint cottage-like accommodations. The restaurant has a full bar, and is open for dinner daily June through Labor Day and Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the fall and winter. The Inn closes March and November for spring and fall break. Thanksgiving, New Years, and Valentines offer fun packages and Paranormal Festival, Dixieland Jazz, and private events are held throughout the year. Known for fresh-planked whitefish..delicious steak with lump crab..crab cakes, pork chops with apple glaze, chicken hemingway with dried cherries and basil..and more the Inn provides a complimentary breakfast with all room stays.
