Arriving at the store I observed the floor of the lobby was dirty, there were customers waiting to receive orders, and the staff appeared busy. I had ordered 2 peperoni lovers with stuffed crust, garlic crust and mushroom using the online app for 6:45 pickup, had called to move the time to 6:25. Picked the order up before 6:30, I drove straight home. I live 15 minutes away from this pizza hut. When I got home and opened the boxes the pizza at first glance looked ok, removing one slice I immediately realized this was the crappiest pizza ever. We will begin with the dough. The dough had not risen at all and the grease from the pepperoni had soaked it completely. The dough was the thickness of 2 quarters stacked on top of each other. The first slice was completely limp and heavy with grease. The dough around the crust was very thin and almost see through due again to the grease. What dough had risen was gummy and without any flaky texture when separated. The cardboard under the pizza was so completely saturated that the cardboard was coming apart. The cheese topping was stiff, not gooey or stringy and each slice was a self-contained mass of pepperoni and mushroom glued to the thin dough. The cheese in the stuffed crust was warm, unyielding, and not melted into the crust. No garlic coating had been applied to the crust, instead it was a sweet flavor unevenly applied to the inner ring of the pizza crust. I called the store and talked to several people. I was made to feel like I was bothering them and could clearly hear other workers making comments about having the worst customers ever and that I should just not order stuffed crust again. The last person I talked to was a lady I assume to be the manager, she was noticeably upset that I had a problem with the order and that I thought I knew what I was talking about. After considerable argument she agreed to refund my card.Having worked at a pizza hut before I believe that my pizza came out like this because the dough was old, the ring used over the crust was dirty, and the pizza may have been put into the side of the oven to cook faster.
