The blackened scallops were onc of the best entrees I’ve ever had. The house wines are quality, and service attentive.

Like the Pizza from My Childhood. We had a few slices after a long day and crust was crisp with a little bit of chewiness like a good bagel. The cheese and sauce were balanced well and the pepperoni had some above average spice making each bite a party in my mouth. The taste was similar to pizza I had when I was younger and lived in Texas. Life is strange that way sometimes. Definitely worth a visit.

There is a reason why this place is packed every night. It’s a little pricey but the food is consistently great. Chicken paisano tossed with angel hair or the lasagna are my goto entrees, and the pizza is very good.

BAD BAD BAD. Was just there for a Holiday Celebration luncheon today and was so dissapointed. I paid $10.95 for FOUR ravioli which was the featured lunch special. I have never paid so much for an appitizer size portion. Then our party ordered dessert, I ordered the Canoli. Guess what? Mine did not come after they were delivered 30 minutes after ordering. I asked to have mine to GO. They brought it out and to my dissapontment again this canoli was 1/2 the size of one of my other dining companions. The waitress was NOT friendly and I cringed to have the 18% tip forced on me for her. Won’t go back

Place is busy but it’s just not that impressive. Not very flavorful.

Not impressed. I went to Compari’s on Saturday, August 23rd with several friends. It was very busy and we had expected a wait. Went to the bar next door for a drink. I went back to the hostess at least twice to ask about the wait. I also scoped out which tables were open. An hour after we arrived, we were finally sat at a table that had been cleared and empty for more than 10 minutes. We then waited an additional 10 minutes for our waitress to come by, and then another for our drinks to arrive. The table next to us sat down after we did but had received their appetizers before we had even been able to order. After all the waiting, I didn’t feel like spending a lot of time or money so I ordered the Smoked Salmon Carpaccio appetizer. For 7.95, I was expecting a little more. There was plenty of salmon and toppings on the plate, but only two thin slices of bread and the salmon was extremely salty. I didn’t hear many complaints from my friends about their dishes but they didn’t seem blown away either. The only saving grace of the experience was the busboy. He was extremely attentive, always there to refill our water and tea, brought us bread, cleared the table when necessary. If he had been our waiter, this review would probably have been mostly positive. All in all, I wasn’t impressed and I don’t plan on returning.
