This rating has nothing to do with the food. After reading the reviews my fianc and I decided to check this place out for breakfast. After walking in and waiting 10 minutes to be seated, and having the waitress walk by us 5+ times to take orders and bus tables we decided to just leave. The waitress even asked us to move around so she could get by us, instead of seating us. Terrible service!!!

Brunch menu is amazingly varied….one of those places you could keep coming back to and get a different choice each time and not be disappointed. Coffee is a little lacking (almost has bitter taste occasionally) and yes, the interior space is small, but that adds to its charm and really shouldn’t deter from trying it out! Specials are also really yummy and add to the issueof not knowing how to choose what to order! I consider that a good problem to have when so many items sound so delicious. Worth checking out for sure.

Wonderful Breakfast, Quaint Atmosphere. Went here for the first time yesterday and can’t stop craving the breakfast that I had. I ordered the huevos rancheros with scrambled eggs. I’m kind of finicky about my scrambled eggs, and wary of ordering them, but these were creamy, fluffy, and perfect. The salsa they used was delicious, and the homestyle potatoes that were the base of the dish were just the right texture. The whole thing was served in a giant pie plate, and the portion was huge. My mom ordered an omelet that had feta, spinach, and dill, and the flavor was subtle and delicious. I thought the service was friendly and genuine. Maybe it’s not as consistent on the weekends, as others have said, but they were busy enough, and we still got plenty of attention. Plus, it’s cute and cozy inside, and since the front is all windows, the view is great. We will be back.

Terrible Service. I’ve been to Crawford’s a few times, and it seems each time it is worse. I used to love this little place, great food, cool atmosphere. The last two times, once about a year ago, and once last week, we were seated on the patio and waited about 10 minutes with no service. It was a Sunday, and they were somewhat busy as usual on Sundays but come on. We walked out both times, and I have never done this before, well one other time at a Denny’s in Ohio. They are always busy on Sundays, why don’t they have enough staff? But I have been noticing it is a lot less busier then it used to be. The place is dead all week long (I pass by it everyday on my way to work).Maybe I’ll get some service there during the week?Update: I waited about 6 months to return to try Crawford’s again. Again was disappointed. One waitress about about 10 tables. Walked out again after I paid for my coffee…. at least they got coffee to me this time.

Menu Posted Here is Out of Date!. I was disappointed today not to be able to get the stuffed squash I have had here in the past. It was still featured as the Tuesday special on the menu you see here. The one waiter said he had not seen squash on the menu in the five months he’d been working there. Service was sub-par, too. I have enjoyed this restaurant in the past, but I’m not sure I’ll be back again. (they also left the pecans off my Black&Blue salad)

Diner? Was that guy crazy?. Ok, yes this is a diner..in the sense that there is food and its a casual restaurant. But the food is high quality and the ingredients are fresh…and you can tell. The cook / chef has a pallette and knows how to cook. I can’t say that for 90% of the diners I got to. I stopped by Crawford’s Kitchen one morning after years of living in Plymouth and never going. I finally went. And I am soooo glad I did. The diner is small, I think it might be able to hold 20 people or so, so don’t be scared off by the fact that its tiny. We sat and ordered the special, Nuevos Rancheros, the Corned Beef Hash and Custard Stuffed French Toast. The service was good, courteous, attentive. She wasn’t overly firendly or really informed about the food, but she served food with a smile and refilled my coffee. So…B+ for service. The corned beef hash was…good but nothing to write home about. It was nice that they used sweet red peppers instead the standard green. But honestly..its was solid corned beef hash…but nothing to make me return…it had no wow factor. But Nuevos Rancheros….had me licking the plate. And I have craved these delicious bites ever since. It wa srich and creamy yolks and crunchy tacos bits…it was heaven oin a square plate. The Stuffed French toast was good, awesome even. But it was too sweet to make an entire meal out of. I enjoyed having a few bites…let them swim and melt in mouth, and then back to my Nuevos Rancheros….don’t skip the french toast though….just get it to share. Its worth it to share. Definately a return to Crawfords is in order.

Nothing fancy, just decent inexpensive diner food.
