A fine establishment. Hermann’s is a real nice establishment to visit for drinks and or a meal. A nice variety of menu items and a good assortment of beers on draft and bottle. The management team is very hands on and works diligently to ensure customers enjoy their visit. You cannot go wrong with a visit to Hermann’s.
Slipping. I used to go to Hermann’s when it was a good place to go, now I avoid it at all costs. I had to laugh at an earlier review that said it was quiet and mentioned holding a conversation. The last time I went I could not even have a conversation because the place was SO loud. This seems to be the norm for about the last year. Someone needs to let the owner know that it is a bar, not a club. If they want a club, make it a club. The other thing I noticed about this place is that the bottle beer is warm (which is really weird because the bottle itself will come cold). I dont know how they do it. If you want music so loud you cant think or have a conversation and you like warm beer, this is your place.
Best French Dip!!!. I go to Hermann’s strictly for the french dip. The roast beef is delicious, the au jus is so tasty, just savory enough, but what really makes this french dip stand out is the bread. They use a nice crusty baguette and when you dip it… The outside stays a little crispy, while the inside gets all soft and juicy. It’s so good! It really is the best french dip I have ever had! Try one, you’ll love it!
Great Time. Boyfriend took me to Hermann’s for a mid-week dinner….great service…great food….reasonably priced. The atmosphere was nice – not too noisy, we could hold a conversation without having to raise our voices. After eating, we played a few games of pool in the game room – tables are ok, but the the cues have seen better days….Will be visiting again…..
Best restaurant. This was the best restaurant ive ever been to, i enjoyed the food the gameroom and my waiter, he was really funny and we had a lot of fun he joked around and did cool tricks, i never stopped laughing, it was the best time ever. If you go there i guarentee you will love it. I will be back Herman’s olde time grill!
Alyse,hands down the best waitress we have had in recent memory. Does not appear to be a pizza joint but best pizza I have had in a while. Plymouth locals rock!
