Great food, great beer selection, fun atmosphere. We stayed for the DJ and we were the only ones dancing in the entire place. We asked the DJ to play some old school stuff but he looked at us like he had never heard of it. Come on DJ Mike, get with it homey.
Had an absolute awsome pizza on a Monday where I found out it was half off pizzas was greeted by the friendliest manager Iv ever meet. Enviroment – Food +. I have a mixed review of Ironwood Grill it may have been due to it being a Friday night but it was Extremely Loud. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves so I will just chalk it up to, we went on the wrong night. The food was great so we will try it again maybe during the weekday at dinner time and see what happens. I will keep you posted.
Nice Bar and Grill. I went here recently while visiting Plymouth for a local fair and festival. This is my second visit. They have good food and a great beer selection. It is also a great place for watching your favorite game as TV’s are prevalent all over the bar. It can get a little crowded in the evenings but there is seating indoor and out.
I haven’t to agree with most who say the place isn’t that great. Interestingly, they call themselves a sports bar only to have 3 channels of ESPN talk with no sound in lieu of the NBA playoffs. Really? The bar staff is absolutely wooden-not even a hello when you enter. It’s almost evident every one of them hates her job. As for the food, it’s more miss than hit, especially the BBQ. I agree with one of the other posts in that they try to combine smoke and sweet only to get ghastly. It’s probably the worst BBQ I’ve ever had. Some of the burgers and calzones are decent, but these should be slam dunks anyway. Beer offerings are very predictable. Close your eyes when you get to the bar, name about 15 common beers off the top of your head, and you’ll have guessed the beer list. Ahhh, probably average on a good day.
So/so. I wanted to try it because I love the open windows and I heard it was delicious. It was only okay. I haven’t had any urge to return. The food was fine. Maybe I needed to order something else and give it another go, but for a Sunday lunch… I wasn’t overly impressed.
Not Good. Visited the Ironwood Grill and wasn’t pleased. Out of my choice of Draft Beer, BBQ did taste good (dry) and the coleslaw as dry too. Would not recommend.
