  The wife and I decided to drop in during happy hour for a quick bite and a few beers and was very happy with what Stella’s had to offer. Awesome pricing for HH beers ($4 20oz craft) and generous liquor pours that definitely stands out amongst the overly priced competition in DTP. Our server was kind and attentive and also had great recommendations. For HH we ordered the $5 potato skins and $5 homemade spinach and artichoke dip that hit the spot. At the end of our meal the owner Bob and Stella herself came over to personally ask how our experience was. How refreshing to have a local establishment who genuinely cares and strives to make you feel at home.We will definitely be back to give Stella’s our business.

  Plymouths hidden gem. Excellent food at a reasonable price. Not just your typical bar fare. Good variety of draft and bottled beer Stop in, you won’t be sorry. If your lucky you will meet Stella herself. Stella is a very sweet and kind service dog that gives this place great character

  Awesome, plain and simple. I love going to Stella’s when I visit Plymouth, MI. Awesome atmosphere, food is fantastic with more then plenty to go around. Drinks are stout. So many people remember you each time you visit. Even better is when the waitress or bartender remembers your favorite drink. Prices are more then resonable!!

  Nice place. On my visit, I ate the 1/2 lb. burger & fries and I enjoyed it. Its rare today to find a 1/2 lb. burger that comes with fries for under $10 and at Stella’s the price is $7.99 With the cost of beef continually rising. Most places are passing on the cost to there patrons and charging over $10 for a burger with fries so, I will definitely be visiting this place again. The beer prices were reasonable too.There were a lot of patrons from early/late 50’s in here and, listening to the staff, quite a few must be regulars as the main bar was mostly taken up by them, but these 50 somethings were friendly.My parents had a friend that use to buy and sell bars like Stella’s in the Metro Detroit area. He use to remodel them from top to bottom and rename them with a catchy name. Once the new bar would open, they would be packed with customers and would remain busy. He would usually sell the bars about a year or so after reopening and advise the new owners to stick with the menu items, menu pricing and beer pricing that he created. Most would, but on occasion a new owner would change things up awhile later and after a year or 2 the bar would close.His philosophy was simple. Serve good food at a fair price and they will come. The food was always priced low enough (just above supplier cost) so that people would spend more money on the beer, wine and liquor, which is where the real profit comes from. He was also big on promoting Happy Hour and drink specials too.

  Wonderful. I have lived in Plymouth for 34 years and never made it to Stella’s to eat. Big mistake…Attended a Christmas get together and the owners and everyone else could have not made us more Welcome. The food was superb along with the amount you got for your money. I most certainty will return and will tell everyone I can to please go try it as you will not be disappointed.

  Good burger!. A short walk around the block from downtown Plymouth, Stellas is a must stop. The place was packed due to the holidays and our waitress was on top of it. Will definitely come back next time Im in town. kuderik.com
