My husband & I ordered dinner from the Hungry Howie’s on Stone Street in Port Huron, Michigan tonight & had the worst experience. I had called to see what they had for specials, which they told me what they were. We decided to order a small pizza w/ 1 topping for $5.00 & a large 2 topping for $10.00 w/ an additional 1 topping. After we picked our order up & were on our way home, I was looking @ the receipt & saw that we were charged extra for the 1 topping on the small and charged for three toppings on the large. So when I called to talk the manager, I was told that because we didn’t specifically ask for the specials we were charged extra because he trains his staff to not hand out the specials unless they are asked for!!! We will not be going back to that location & I will be calling their corporate office in the morning!!! I worked retail for 15 years & that is certainly not how you handle a customer complaint!!!!!
