Best pasties and potato pancakes. The pasties were delicious with the best brown gravy yet. And I have never had potato pancakes so flavorful and cooked to perfection, crisp on the edges but not burnt. Better than any in Hamtramck. The WARM homemade applesauce that they came with made the dish. Also tried the pierogis and dill pickle soup which were both amazing too. Such great homemade, fresh cooked to order food. The owner was very friendly, took the time to talk with us and recommend a bakery for paczki day coming up! There will definitely be many return trips in our future!

Super yummy. Best pasties and pieroges. Also, the pickle soup is to die for…i could live on it!! I know pickle soup sounds strange but I asked for a little sample when I went in and left with three containers full!If you like dill pickles… try it, you’ll love it!

Best pasty I’ve ever eaten. I’ve had pasties all over the U.P., at a few places around the Detroit area and homemade (my mom’s from the U.P.). These are hands down the best pasties I’ve ever eaten. The dough isn’t dry, they use real steak and they’re huge. I can’t wait to try the Polish food.

Polish foods, too…. But it’s all about the humble pasty here.Very small and sterile–meaning utilitarian, dine in is available here.I’ve ordered fresh and frozen pastys to take home to bake. Consistent quality and both versions delicious coming out of the home oven.Dined in on a Polish Kielbasa, okay but not sterling.Go for the pasty.
