Half pound burger. Maybe the best hamburger meal in Macomb County. Maybe the best in all of Michigan! The open-fire grilled, half pound burger turned out here is just that good. And inexpensive, too.I sampled this burger, along with the Pubs’ french fries yesterday at lunch. Too bad I didn’t discover this appealing bar years ago. In my mind I would call Eastgate Pub a mix of corner bar and dive bar. The long, narrow bar room is enclosed by cinder block walls, a concrete floor, and exposed steel roof girders. It’s dark, cluttered with signage and eclectic decoration, and nine (I think) TVs. Service is friendly and welcoming. A little treasure in Roseville.
