I don’t typically take the time to post reviews, but Lazybones deserves my time. Lazybones always overwhelms, great food, good friendly service, so much food for the money. I have been eating here for years and its still impresses me every time. Great job, my only complaint is that they aren’t open on Sundays.
I think Lazzybones is the best BBQ in town . They also have reasonable prices ,great job .
Yum!. Help this place! I’m from Texas…where some of the best BBQ comes from. but this place, Lazybones, has the best I think I have tasted. They just closed their 19 and Garfield store. They say it wasn’t doing so good. why? The BBQ IS GREAT. I am waiting for my order here at Groesbeck and 11 mile and there is a line for orders and pick up. Can we get the word out? I hate to see good food go down in flames.
The smell alone…. The smell is the first thing you notice when you walk in. If I could bottle that smell I would have to beat the men off me with a stick. I wasn’t even sure where to start so we got the sampler. I have to saw that I was most impressed by what I assumed was the pulled pork (they didn’t really tell you what was on the sampler), the chicken, and the ribs. Everything was falling off the bone good. We got the mac and cheese and the coleslaw for our sides. The mac and cheese I could have eaten all day, but the slaw not so much. I prefer my slaw creamy, but this seemed to be citrus based dressing. I will absolutely be coming back for more. There is still so much to try including the different sauces.
Tender and Flavorful. Being my first time here I went for the sampler that includes a small portion of all the meats offered. Everything was delicious. On the ribs the meat easily pulled off the bone and the smokey flavor is amazing. There’s still lots to try so I’ll be going back.
