Nasty service & food at a ridiculous price!!. My family has been going to this place for years because the food was good and inexpensive, but the last two times I have either been there or called to place an order: 1) the lady waiting on me (possibly the owner or the owner’s wife) was short with me and very rude for no reason (even slammed the the phone down extra loudly in my ear when I had to cancel the order because of the inflated price of my salad- $6 for extra peperoncini and olives on top of the price of the actual salad!?!), 2) the food quality has gone down, WAY down, and 3) the prices have gone up (which is confusing because of #2). I should have learned after my last visit when I noticed that the restaurant smells and is dirty with hairy, sweaty cooks (wonder no more what that secret ingredient is!!), but I was tired after a long week and only ordering a Greek salad. Save yourself the trouble and find yourself another Greek restaurant, one that treats you like family (rather than an annoying customer!) and actually serves decent food at a reasonable price!

Also, I have never been a huge fan of chicken lemon rice soup, but I cant get enough of it at Athenian/Dimitri’s. So tasty!!
Finally stopped in…. I always pass by this restaurant and say we need to eat there and today we finally did. It was a comfy little place and was greeted by a friendly staff. I was surprised how much take out business they had today. This is a step up from a Coney, offering what seems to be more authentic greek cuisine. I was pleasantly surprised when the chicken kabob I got was super moist and cooked just perfect. I am not a fan of the rice with the sauce on it and was hesitant to order it. I actually liked it. The portions were huge and very tasty. I wish I had stopped by sooner.
