Absolutely the worst food in the metropolitan Detroit area. The view is nice order bottled beer they can’t ruin that. Ther perch was terrible, the ribs were so salty they were inedible , and the fis and chips were so fishy yuck. The service was as bad as the food ‘!
Mixed. The interior has had a nice facelift. They have expanded the bar area in front quite a bit. Including a stage area for live music to be played. I really don’t understand a whole hell of a lot about that unfortunately, since they’ve axed at least 4 tables away from the dining area. Now, not only is there the original bar area, plus the outdoor dining area where there is often a DJ and many tables have been sacrificed to provide standing/dancing area. They now have this massive area right inside the door. Of course, less tables means….you need to make more money per table! So, of course the prices have gone through the roof. Unfortunately I’m afraid that nothing much has changed regarding the service at this location. The last two incarnations of Jack’s had horrible service. I was not hopeful that this would be improved once the Andiamo crew took over. Unfortunately the service is geared more towards upselling than service. The food, totally hit or miss. Some items good, some just okay, some bad. All in all overpriced and sloppy, Andiamo’s MO.
Lake perch/chicken sandwhich. Couldn’t believe the vegtables they served with the fish,peas and yellow cucumber that was soaked in a barrel of vinegar.chicken sandwhich wasn’t worth 5 bucks let alone 10. Deffinately will not go back.
Nice atmosphere. Beautiful views. Great food and drinks!
