We are giving Butter Run 4 out of a 5 only because there are no gluten-free specific options. You can get breakfast there if you are a night shifter or have a fried egg on top of your burger patties. The company here is fabulous and they have a large selection of whiskey and scotches. You can also get cider on tap or bottled. glutenfreedetroitmetro.com
I ordered a chef salad and the lettuce was filthy. It was obvious the lettuce was not washed. Full of dirt. I sent it back and I was disgusted. The waitress offered me a replacement and it was obviously freshly washed as the salad was in a puddle of water. And it was now muddy instead of just dirty. She took it off my bill and insisted that the salad was always washed. Beware of dirty food. I won’t go back.

Don’t waste your time!!!. Horrible, horrible service. The bartender is so rude. We watched him yell at a lady and call her names because she complained she couldn’t get waited on. We will never go back. Don’t waste your time!
Totally Awesome!!!. It was definitely worth the wait!! Inside is fantastic. Food is awesome! My favorite is the Philly Steak Sandwich and Fried Mushrooms. Staff is wonderful, courteous, and very attentive. They definitely know what they are doing!!
Should have waited to open.. It took forever for this bar to open and after visiting it I think they should have waited longer. Not ready. No draft beer, limited menu and a staff, including the owner, that are clueless about the service industry. Very disappointed. Since I live very close I might give it another try in 6 months. Maybe they will have things running better by then.
Nice bar but opened before owner knew the bar bussiness…staff has no clue kitchen… fingers in mouth grabbing awesome looking onion rings….no draft beer yet….
