Perfect. Just perfect….Wish I had found it sooner. I stumbled upon this gem this morning after dropping my daughter off at school. After a horrific experience I had at this location years ago (when it was formerly Conga), I steered clear (for three years). Imagine my delight when I discovered that ‘something new’ was here. THIS PLACE EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS ON EVERY LEVEL. Everything here is PERFECT, the decor, the ambiance, the service (by far the best service I’ve ever had from ANY coffee shop/cafe), the menu……I am not joking when I say I almost had a tear in my eye when I ordered my salted mocha latte (delicious!). The only regret I have is waiting for THREE years to discover this place. Now, mind you, I am a coffee snob. I make my own lattes at home and french press my coffee more often than not. I was a barista, a store manager, and part owner in a cafe. I have very high ideals of what a cafe should be, and this place knocked my socks off. I especially appreciate the fact that the owners provide so many of their ingredients from other LOCAL merchants, from the breads to the Better made chips and Faygo soda (in glass!). They really left nothing out here. It’s just perfect. My latte was delicious (as was the cinnamon muffin), and I can’t wait to go back for lunch. (It’s taking everything in my power to not go in this moment. I am holding out for the lobster bisque tomorrow.) Update to follow 🙂

WOW! and OUCH!. I stopped in for a tuna salad sandwich and coffee at 2:30pm a few weeks ago. Two other customers were there, so I basically had a quiet, relaxing lunch. The server was friendly and the food was freshly prepared, delicious and reasonably priced. You must try Caffe Far Bella!!!3/29/12 – had a very different experience. Same time of day. Served by an older lady at counter….more interested in talking to USPS personnel than preparing my chicken salad sandwich…took 15 minutes. And….chicken salad was made from CANNED chicken. YUK! Coffee in serving containers LUKEWARM.Big difference! Their food is too expensive to gamble on quality and performance. Won’t be back.

Yummy!. Picked up great carryout for the family from caffe far bella – 9 Mack Drive in the Shores- Generous turkey pesto and roasted red pepper pannini, spicy tomato basil bisque, and assorted lindsor fruit bars. Sooo goood, and great coffee!!!! Thank you Jack and Karen for creating a welcoming dine in or carry out venue in the Shores!!! Wonderful!

Fantastic!. I couldn’t rave more about what a fantastic restaurant this is! We held our bridal shower there and the food and service well exceeded our expectations. The owners truly know how to host an event.

Bella Far Bella. Kudo’s to the nicest caffe around. Beautiful environment, wonderful warm atmosphere. Proprietors, Jack and Karen, treat you like beloved family … and it always amazes me that they know everyone by name. The menu is terrific, and I’m determined to sample each and every offering, one sweet bite at a time. Current favs – the mushroom paninni (as mentioned in another post), the Thursday soup of the day – mushroom (with the Wednesday soup – loaded baked potato a very close second) and the breakfast paninni’s are amazing. Thursdays seem to be my fav day – not only can you get warmth and hospitality with a mouth watering meal, you can listen to the live entertainment in the evening (just before closing). Go once, and you will be addicted!

Located in the space of the former Conga Coffee, a local family morphed the space into a bright and clean dining room. A true cafe. Nice menu (although I have only stopped thus far, for The Red Eye coffee jolt). A nice breakfast and lunch menu–today I watched a cook assemble a tuna salad lawash wrap while waiting for my Red Eye. Great coffees. They offer a frequent buyers card that rewards guests with a free caffeine cup after six purchases. Two down, four to go!Has all the makings of an eastside treasure.
