Was seated, given a glass of water, and waited over five minutes without even being looked at by a server or given a menu. I just stood up and left.

While almost every time I’ve gone hooked something about my order gets screwed up, the staff is always quick to fix it, and their baba ghanooj, lamb, and rice pilaf dish is what dreams are made of. I’m hooked.

I was excited to find a Lebanese restaurant so close to my new house! I have worked near Dearborn for a while so I’ve tried A LOT of places. Cedar garden disappointed me with both the flavor and price. Perhaps these recipes come from a different part of their homeland, but I have no desire to try their food again. I’ll stick with the places I go to for lunch when I’m working!

Terri. My husband and I have been going to Cedar Gardens for years. The salads are super fresh with a house dressing that is light and flavorful. They have an excellent crushed lentil soup and a wide variety of classic middle eastern dishes that are always good. It is very casual and comfortable. One of our favorites.

A little disappointing. Ever since la shish closed, i’ve been seriously craving some damn good middle eastern food. My best friend suggested cedar garden, a place his older sister had taken him. I got one of my favorite sandwhiches a falafel with hommus and tabouli, and was really excited. The service was alright, but sadly my falafel was greasy. Instead of crunchy and deep fried like I remember them being at la shish all too clearly, the oil these falafels were cooked in drenched the poor things. Not to mention, the tabouli and hommus were seemingly tasteless. They were so close, but sadly, Cedar Garden was no cigar.
