Loved this place. This place has all types of food to choose from. I was very surprised seeing as its similar to a diner or Coney Island resturant. I loved the Beer Battered Cod and Cabbage Soup. When ordering soup you get a basket full of different crackers and hand cut breads. The service was pretty good as well. I will be going back!
Awesome!!. Charlies is our new favorite, from the time you walk in the door the hostess and waitresses are so friendly they treat you like its their home; the food is great! and Bob the owner is one of a kind he to treats everyone like family welcoming them. Truly a great place to eat, with a large selection of food and excellent prices.
The service was good. The food was okay. It was much smaller than I had expected. I’d go back I suppose, but not by my choice.
YUM. Charlies has the BEST coffee, I would come back just for the coffee but the food is First Class, Linda my server, was Frist Class also, keep up the good work………A+
Owners/Managers Not Good=Greedy. We are customers from the beginning and have always enjoyed the experience. Today, before leaving, my husband asked for a to go cup for his coffee. The waitress who has always been wonderful, said to us before checking out, next time they are going to charge you for the to go cup just so you know. Are you kidding me! We already paid for the coffee! When checking out my husband paid for an extra cup of coffee that he was taking just so the waitress wouldn’t get in trouble. Will never go there again if that’s the way they treat their waitstaff over a to go cup of already paid for coffee. Too bad they lost another customer over such nonsense.
Great Family Restaurant. Amazing service (thanks Ashley), amazing food, amazing portions, could not have been better. Arrive hungry and still leave with leftovers!! Great atmosphere. Nice back room for parties as well. Extensive menu as well. Allow lots of time to study it. Rice pudding, best west of Lake Michigan!!
Rude and Ridiculous. Went four times between the end of October and the beginning of November. The first two visits were nice. The third visit they hassled me about wanting cottage cheese instead of fries (I’m diabetic and avoid carbs). Tonight they not only hassled me about it but were rude as well. Canceled our order and left. Linda’s down the street is cheaper, has better food and way better service.Seriously? It costs you more to scoop a cup of cottage cheese than drop and order of fries?
